Akbari Copilot

Privacy

Chat storage

An anonymous server copy of each conversation is retained for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted. Visitors can delete their current conversation sooner using the “Delete my conversation now” control in the copilot.

Personal information

The copilot automatically redacts common personal identifiers—including email addresses, phone numbers, government identification numbers, payment card numbers, and street addresses—before a question is sent for processing or saved on the server. Automated detection can miss unusual formats, so please do not submit private, confidential, clinical, or unpublished lab information.

What is stored

Stored conversations use a random browser-generated session identifier. The copilot does not intentionally attach your name, email address, or IP address to chat records. Operational records may include response time, token counts, error status, and approximate cost, but not the text of your question.

Deletion and administration

You can delete your conversation from the copilot at any time. Authorized Akbari Lab administrators can review stored conversations and feedback to improve scientific accuracy, identify missing sources, and diagnose failures.

Scientific use

Answers are generated from public sources and may contain errors. Do not use the copilot as a substitute for reviewing the cited paper, professional advice, or institutional data-handling requirements.
